A brochure for Eddie Rickenbacker's autogbiography, nicely signed on the cover in black felt tip by Eddie Rickenbacker, who added "1967" after his name.
The Allied Forces answer to the Red Baron, Rickenbacker studied under Luftbury, he quickly became the best known World War I fighter ace and Medal of Honor recipient. He was also a race car driver and automotive designer, a government consultant in military matters and a pioneer in air transportation. During his lifetime, Rickenbacker worked with many influential civilian and military leaders. Rickenbacker participated in the formative years of auto racing as a driver. Before owning and operating the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, he participated in some of the first 500-mile races held there. Soon for about a year he headed and was responsible for the track and race.
The folded brochure measures 3.5"x6". It opens to a short biography, book revies, and an order form. Unframed.
