Marilyn Monroe Signed Original Movie Contract - Framed

$9,299.00

Marilyn Monroe's two page (front & back) freelance player's movie contract for Monroe's role as Iris Martin in the 1951 Film "Home Town Story", signed at the conclusion in black felt tip pen by Marilyn Monroe.

The contract references the film under its working title "Between The Lines", filmed at Hal Roach Studios. The contract, which is dated March 22, 1950, is the oldest Monroe movie contract that we have seen hit the market, dating from the turbulent early period of her career, pre-dating her breakout starring role in Niagara by three years.

The contract measures 8.5" x 17", and is in Fine to Very Fine condition with minor paper loss to the top, and an area of tearing at the bottom edge that extends next to and just into the first "M" in Monroe's signature. Otherwise, in our opinion, her clear and beautiful signature is just about as close to a "10" as you can get.

Sold with Certificates of Authenticity from both The Autograph Source (Lifetime Guarantee) and independent third-party authenticator PSA/DNA.

MUSEUM-QUALITY FRAME INCLUDED.

THIS IS THE SAME CONTRACT AS IN OUR OTHER LISTING OF THIS CONTRACT, WHICH IS POSTED SO THAT YOU CAN SEE THE CONTRACT CLOSER.
