Marilyn Monroe's Personal Nightgown

This net fitted long nightgown with spaghetti straps and black net peignoir was owned by, and worn by, Marilyn Monroe. Sold with a sheer black crepe (shoulder cover).

The crepe has some sun damage, but the nightgown is in fine condition. Originally sold in the June 1996 Sotheby's auction. Sold with a letter from the woman who purchased it from Sotheby's in 1996, a copy of her purchase receipt from Sotheby's, and a copy of the auction page.

Dresses worn by Monroe have sold for hundreds of thousands of dollars, making this nightgown an extremely affordable alternative.
