"THE FIFTH BEATLE LIMITED EDITION PORTRAIT"
An 18" x 24" offset printed lithograph is number 371 of a numbered, limited edition of 2500. The plates were destroyed upon completion. Autographed by original Beatles drummer Pete Best, and the artist Shane Stover. The images are of the "five Beatles"... John, Paul, George, Stuart, and Pete. Sold with COAs from PSA and TAS, and the publisher.
The following text is an excerpt from the certificate of authenticity from the publisher:
"The 5th Beatle pays tribute to the trials and tribulations of the legendary original drummer - and puts into focus, and fact - his contributions to the band, and his rightful numerical place to which he came into the band, and to put to rest forever, the manipulative dalliances with the truth that some would have us believe. Ringo was not the 4th Beatle; he was the 6th of six. Yes, there were only Six Beatles in the History of Rock n' Rolls top band. Only Three of them are still with us...
This historically significant portrait of an era, a time now generations ago, honors the bandmates, but especially one man's life, PETER BEST; THE DRUMMER... THE 5th BEATLE. This portrait is personally signed by PETE BEST, alongside the inscription in stone he helped make famous; THEIR NAME LIVETH FOREVERMORE", from a monument in Hamburg, Germany."
Unframed.
