Nirvana Autographed Lawsuit Settlement Agreement

An eight page Settlement Agreement, dated Dec. 8, 1994 (eight months after Cobain's death) between the members of Nirvana and video director Kevin Kerslake, autographed on the final page (in ballpoint pen) by Dave Grohl, Krist Novoselic, Kevin Kerslake, and agents representing the Estate of Curt Cobain.

This settlement was the result of a lawsuit filed by Kerslake regarding Nirvana's video for "Heart Shaped Box". After the video was released, Kerslake claimed that the Video contained, without his permission, visual images created, and owned by Kerslake for which he received no credit. Cobain, Novoselic, Grohl, and Nirvana, Inc. denied Kerslake's claims. This settlement paid $82,500 to Kerslake to settle the lawsuit.
