Louisville Slugger Cal Ripken Jr. professional model (P72) baseball bat, game-used by Ripken during the 1985 season, and signed in silver paint pen by Cal Ripken Jr.
This ash wood bat (with hickory finish) shows evidence of excellent use. There are many ball marks, stitch impressions, and cleat marks on the barrel, and a light coat of pine tar on the handle. Ripen's number "8" is written on the knob in silver pain pen.
This bat has been traced in the H&B Louisville Slugger records as having been manufactured for Ripken June 6, 1985.

Also sold with a Letter of Grading and Authenticity from PSA/DNA, with a grade of "GU6" from PSA/DNA.
