Chamberlain's serious knee surgery severly limited the number of games that he played against young Milwaukee Bucks center Lew Alcindor (later Kareem Abdul-Jabbar). Chamberlain was the only basketball player to ever block one of Abdul-Jabbar's "sky-hook" shots.
