An original Jerry Garcia hand-colored portrait by Stanley "Mouse" Miller. Stanley "Mouse" Miller is an American psychedelic poster artist best known for his 1960s rock concert poster designs, as well as Grateful Dead album cover art.

This is an original Jerry Garcia caricature artwork accomplished in pencil and colored pencil on a 9" x 12" leaf of artist illustration paper. It features Grateful Dead lettering, three caricature portraits of Jerry Garcia, and "Ignatz Mouse" throwing a brick labeled "Kelley" (a reference to fellow poster artist, Alton Kelley) at Garcia's head. It is signed in pencil, "S. Mouse", at lower right and dated 1978.

This is a rare opportunity to acquire original Stanley Mouse artwork of Jerry Garcia by the artist inextricably linked with the Grateful Dead.

Stanley ‘Mouse’ Miller - Born in California and son of a Disney Studio animator, Mouse’s destiny was affected by World War II as his family moved to Detroit where his interest in the West evolved into automobiles. He attended the Art School of the Society of Arts and Crafts and gradually became a legend with the airbrush and automobile related art. However, setting his sights on San Francisco, Mouse moved back West where he began an illustrious career in rock related design, including his legendry association with Alton Kelley.
